Florida Gulf Coast University

Freshman applicants include: high-school seniors, home school students in their final year, first–time-in-college students (FTIC), high-school graduates with 11 or fewer transferable credit hours completed after graduating from high school and students currently enrolled in high school and earning college credit (dual enrollment). High school students who are taking dual-enrollment courses should apply using the freshman application, unless they plan to complete 12 or more semester hours of college coursework after graduating from high school. The application fee is $30.

Florida Gulf Coast University considers you a transfer applicant if you have a high school diploma from a regionally accredited high school or GED and have completed at least 12 semester hours of transferable college credit after graduation from high school, but have not completed a bachelor’s degree.
