What are the best times to visit using the walk-up line?

We are generally less busy on non-holiday weekdays and after 3pm on weekends. We may be able to accommodate you right when you arrive, however on busier days (weekends and holidays) we may be at our current capacity limit, in which case you’ll need to wait for the next available time slot.

I'm visiting from out of state. Can I use my EBT/WIC card to receive a discount?

Our discounts are available for Washington state residents only.

Can I set up a reservation in advance with my EBT/WIC/FLASH/GOLD CARD?

No. Please use the walk-up line at the Aquarium for the next available time slot. We may be able to accommodate you right away, however on busier days (weekends and holidays) we may be at our current capacity limit, in which case you’ll need to wait for the next available time slot.

Inspiring Conservation of Our Marine Environment

We are honored to be responsible guests on the traditional and contemporary territories of the Coast Salish people, who have stewarded these lands and waters since time immemorial. The Seattle Aquarium is committed to developing a strong foundation for long-lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships with Tribal Nations, urban Native peoples and, as our mission grows, the Indigenous peoples of the Indo-Pacific and their local diaspora. We strive for reciprocal, respectful relationships rooted in the sovereignty of our Indigenous hosts. We too give thanks to the ocean and all our ocean relatives we have the honor to care and advocate for, be in relationship with, and be educators with for the future wellbeing of our shared Earth.
